Trama

Murphy Brown e' una sitcom statunitense con protagonista Candice Bergen, andata in onda sul canale CBS dal 1988 al 1998. Murphy Browne' un alcolista, che ritorna dopo un soggiorno presso il Betty Ford Clinic, ha piu' di quarant'anni ed e' singole.
La migliore amica di Murphy e' la sua concorrente giornalista Frank Fontana, ed e' l'unica persona che si rivolge a lei con il nomignolo 'Murph'. Anche se e' una giornalista temeraria, i suoi rapporti personali la tengono in cura da uno psicoterapia per la maggior parte della serie.
